shifting/clutch problem

i ride gsx750f 1989(89-96 model)
when i start riding the gear shifting is perfect but after 20 minutes of riding the shifting becomes nightmare(especially downshift)
the clutch cable is adjusted
the oil level is good
don`t know what it is

What oil are you running and did you change it recently?
Some oils not for motorcycles can cause the clutch plates to stick. It might be more pronounced on down shift because up shifting without the clutch is easy on the Kat..

Are you sure the clutch cable is adjusted correctly? When mine started to go it was always hard as hell to downshift, and could never find neutral with the engine running.

its probably the additives in the oil you had. if thats the case you may have to buy new fiber clutch plates.

Yeah, see oils change when they heat. That's what the two numbers mean. I'm suspecting that when the oil gets hot it's gumming up the clutch, but that presupposes no other clutch issues that are heat or cycle related.

If it actually contains moly, then it's the source of your troubles. Moly is not wet-clutch compatible. Unfortunately, it does impregnate clutch fibers and typically requires the clutch to be replaced and the engine to be flushed...

"liqui molly" is the oil brand
"additoin for the clutch" is written on the tube
its motocycle oil
