I heard of Triumph's now discountiued S-T bike as a "Gentleman's Bike". Never heard of a street bike being called a crusier.

I've heard the term Gentleman's Cruiser used sparingly in the UK press to refer to relatively fast sports-touring machines with full fairing protection. I always got the vague impression that it was in reference to a bike that you could wear a tuxedo on at 100 mph without wrinkling it -- something James Bond might ride to a lavish extravaganza

James Bond on a Katana 1100? Sure...THAT will happen...90% of motorcycle forum members do not have a service manual for their bike.
