A gentleman's cruiser

Saw this link and though it was funny I've never heard of a Sport touring being called a gentlemen's cruiser. I'd believe though this site is very gentlemanly. and ladylike

No , it's the BLACKBIRD (Honda CBR1100XX) that's known as the "Gentlemen's express" , or at least once was so named . THAT dude is just making **** up .

I heard of Triumph's now discountiued S-T bike as a "Gentleman's Bike". Never heard of a street bike being called a crusier.

I've heard the term Gentleman's Cruiser used sparingly in the UK press to refer to relatively fast sports-touring machines with full fairing protection. I always got the vague impression that it was in reference to a bike that you could wear a tuxedo on at 100 mph without wrinkling it -- something James Bond might ride to a lavish extravaganza
