  • clutch time...

    hey everyone, its been a long winter and i am out of hibernation.. now that i have my kat on the road.. i now need to replace the clutch.. i am in hamilton ontario.. and i was wondering if anyone knows where get the parts... for a good price..

    also.. should i do a full replacement, springs, plates etc? or just the friction plates..

    any help would be appreciated..

    oh yeah.. its a 01 750...

      How did the clutch replacement go? I have a 01 750 as well that needs a clutch.

        Clutches are easy to do, if your mechanically inclined.

          I do my own ...buy the friction plates ,and springs and glass bead blast the steel plates =10-15 bucks at a motor rebuild shop .....and the gasket your ready to install ...i like vesrah my self ...dont over tighten the bolts

            buy a barnett clutch kit. they are great
            Ride like there's no tomorrow!!! You never know when your going to run out of "tomorrows"!!!
