finally got my permit

i finally got my permit last thursday! signed up to take a MSF course on may 14.... can't wait to git out there and just ride!

I guess the laws are different from state to state.... I took the MSF course last spring. In Maine its an 8 hour course with a multiple choice test at the end, I think it was something like 40-50 questions. Very easy. Then I had to go to the DMV with my MSF certificate and pick up the the permit, good for 2 years. For the license there is a 10-15 minute road test.... need to do that this spring, I think I'm ready.

Congrats, ride carefully and expect cages to behave badly and you will always be fine.

You can still have some fun just make sure theres a time and place for it

awesome news, just dont be an idiot like me and ride with the permit and not have a licensed rider with you, cause that ticket sucked. keep it safe keep it fun
