  • E-Track on an open trailer

Yes or no? The new trailer should be done this week, and I'm thinking about installing e-track on it for tie down points.

I'm just thinking that if I do that, eventually the etrack will rust since it's an open trailer that will be stored outside.

All the E Track I have seen has been powdercoated, so I probably wouldn't worry too much about rust, and heck if it does rust, it's cheap enough to replace.

    Just because they sound the same doesn't mean they are: there≠their≠they're; to≠too≠two; its≠it's; your≠you're; know≠no; brake≠break

The only problem I have with the E track on my open trailer is dirt getting under it. You just have to wash it with a hose or blow the dirt out with air every now and then. Rust has not been a problem.

E track is great stuff. They have so many different types of straps/clips for them. I have it in my enclosed trailer
