based on the picture... i definately would not pay $1000 for it. If it was actually a GSXR I MIGHT pay 800 bucks. However it is just a Kat, missing several pieces (at least it looks like it in the pic). I'd say maybe $500

i tend to find it hard to believe these people who post things like this don't know what they're talking about. He probably knows just as much some of the guys on this forum... He is just hoping you don't know what he knows. Typical scam artists. I mean that would be like me selling my Ford Explorer and telling people its a Lincoln Navigator. He knows it's a Kat, he just wants more money.

I saw the same posting earlier today, and thought all the same things.

The seat curves into the tank very Katana-like, so I figured the guy was a bit confused. Didn't he mention having the fairings? That'd definitely clue you in if you actually rode all the way down to Currituck *laugh*

If he has the platics, they are not broke (paint is cheap), it's not been wrecked (frame, forks, wheels are good) then I would pay 1k.

But then, if you can get him down further, it's always good.

The mileage is high too. He took down the post that day, 3 people posted up that it was a kat and not a GSXR, so I guess he realized.
