First Ride Today
Not counting the ride home from the seller of course. Beautiful day. Rode a lot of county roads from 2p to around 6:30p. Just getting used to riding again. Couple things I noticed. It was hard to see the turn signals on. Had to remember to push to stop. It's a 98 Katana. Towards the end of the day when I was feeling a bit more confident I was really pushing it. The center stand must not hold like it used to. Kept hearing it hit the pavement.
Picked up a cargo net at the local Suzuki shop. Definitely not doing the job. Was gonna get a tank bag at dealer prices but all they had was super small ones. Looking at the Chase Harper 1150 tank bag. They did have some nice looking Alpinestars riding gloves. Always liked them.
Gonna change the oil this weekend. Adjust and lube the chain. A good once over. Noticed the left front turn signal out. Have to fix that. Otherwise I am stoked. Once I have ridden it locally for a while definitely doing a proper road trip.
