  • This Kat's a blast !

Bought this 5K miles Kat last week, got it running (been sitting in storage) and put a few miles on it yetserday. After years of riding touring bikes, this Kat is a blast. Don't get me wrong, it will never replace my big bike, but it is a blast when I'm riding solo. I know, to you guys it's not powerful, but compared to a dressed Harley it's a rocket.
I love chrome like a fat kid loves cake !!!

    1998 Kat GSX600F ( I'm 49 years young ! ) Gone, but never forgotten, great bike !!!

I am glad you are enjoying it.. I have had my kat since 06, and I still love it!

Nice weather we have been having!
It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride.

I rode cruisers for most of my life and my kat is my first sport style bike also. I will probably have more cruisers in the future but think the Kat will always have a place to stay. For those of us not looking to ride wheelies and break the sound barrier, it is really comfortable and quite fast for a 500 lb bike. Glad you enjoy it.

You forgot the coffeemaker, DirecTV, and shiatsu massager.

Are you sure you don't have a Goldwing by mistake?

Geez fellas... go easy. He's tip toeing on the dark side for him.

HK, glad to hear your havin fun. I used to keep my 78 1/2 FXES in the stable too, found that the rockets were more "fun". Now my 63 xlch sits in a box and my rockets are the only thing I ride anymore ....

Oh yeah and welcome to KatRiders ...

                              Guys,
Have at, you can't hurt my feelin's and I don't ride to please anyone but myself and the wife, if she's with me. I put 12K miles a year on the dresser and hope to put a bunch on the Kat. Like I said, they're both fun, just another type.....it's all good. If I could only afford a 30 year old 175cc on/off road, that's what I'd be ridin' !
And by the way, once I get a little more comfortable around here, I'll be bustin' your balls right back ! Just don't wanna ruffle any feathers right now, I'm still at the "I need advice" part of this thing.
                              Stay safe !
