  • Prob. w/carb drain screw

After its long Winter nap went to start it up. Setting the control to prime fuel started to spew from the left side (inner) carb #2. The drain screw was only 1/2 way screwed in. I tried to tighten it but feared stripping it. It seems like the screw starts easily but only 1/2 way then tight, I can remove it entirely so maybe the prob. is in the bowl itself. It looks like it wants to go "down" at slight angle vs going straight it. I tried the screw from carb #1 and same thing. Any thoughts much appreciated.

Fill out your garage. I have a 750 and the drain screw on my carb's goes in at an angle.

Carbs off and a good clean out required by the sound of it - possibly tank corrosion in the bowl and therefore in the threads imo
