I have noticed on three recent trips to Vermont (MT.Snow area) that I see as many Triumphs as I do the standard R-1s, CBRs, GSXRs. And I dont mean those goofy Tiger dual purpose bikes, I see the sport-tourers and sport bikes. They seem like great bikes, but I never see so many closer to home. (New York). Any ideas??

no wrath here. It was specified "Ottawa", not Stratford
Triumphs are AWESOME !!!!Some people are a lot like Slinkys.
Not really good for anything, but bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Atleast 2 of the Ottawa gay community will be representing AT THE GAP...unlike some other sissies that are afraid to ride on roads that don't have stoplights at every corner.

(this is an educated guess)
Perhaps it's because the triumphs have a benefit over distance in terms of real-world rider comfort and available mid-range torque, so for people living out of the large cities, where time in the saddle is more important than stoplight-to-stoplight performance and bling, there is more value to the triumphs. Or maybe it's a matter of there being good dealer support for the triumphs in those areas... A great dealer can make a major difference.
