need help ignition advancer installed and making a clicking

I installed it no problem started up first crank but makes a clicking sound at the advancer I did get oil over the area when installing the new one should I worry

Stopped clicking after I rode it for a few miles dont know what is was. we can close this post

Did you open it back up to make sure it was tight? We had one member who had it come loose and tear up everything under the cover...

lol that was me and it was a bolt

sunday morning i rode it like i stole it and it doesnt make the clicking any more but now i am paraniod about a loose bolt I turned the 6mm bolt until I thought I was going to break it so I think it is tight.

the clicking was probably just the pickup scrubbing in on the new rotor. Once you ride a few miles it will stop.
