The Yuasa I bought at Wheeler's was like $90 I think. That's for a sealed cell battery.

the walmart ones only seem to last a year for me, but i still keep buying them just cuz I work there and its so much easier, but i would say stay away from a walmart one .

ditto here but for a regular lead acid. As long as you keep these things on a tender when not in use they will last you years.

You can get the sealed battery at an Interstate Batteries store for around $60.

On going with Yuasa. Seem to be the best durability wise.

You won't beat the yuasa life and performance but at the same time if you are on a budget, you can usually buy two cheaper ones for the same price or less.

I just replaced the oe yuasa in my 95 VT600 last summer. 11 years on one battery.
the secret is to keep it clean, and when the bike is not going to be used for a week or more put it on a float charger...
Still have the OE battery in my 98 kat
