Does this unit HAVE TO stay on the bike, or is ti a one time adjustment/fix?

I'm thinking if I can transfer it from bike to bike to adjust once & for all then it's a BARGAIN! But if I have to buy one and LEAVE IT INSTALLED on every bike.....................AARRGGHH!
I've owned over 70 Katanas - you think I know anything about them?
Is there such a thing as TOO MANY BIKES?
Can you go TOO FAST on a bike?

leave it in thing - it just changes the timing pulses that do to the speedo.

Mine arrived Saturday and I installed it on Sunday. It works great!

First you get the bike up and ready to to be worked on:

Pull the left side fairing off, and plug the speedohealer harness in line with the senser harness:

Tape the connections up, route the harness to the tail and mount the box with some velcro (the other box in the pic is for the UFO tail light):

Then all you have to do is program the unit. I used the on-line calculator to determine the correction amount and then printed off the instructions. It took less than a minute to program and it seems to be dead on!

For the first time ever, my speedometer actually reads correct!
I like you. When the world is mine your death will be quick and painless.

Yep, very well designed and easy to install. Web instructions make it even better. I still have to do some tweaking once winter is over but so far it looks like it works.
One nice feature for me was being able to convert the miles on my gauges to kilometres...so now the outside larger numbers are in kilometres so it's easier to read than the tiny inside numbers on the gauge.

These don't work for pre 98's do they? If they do I will buy one.

S$K$ mine is working fine, glad I bought it.

AKBigN You have a mechanical speedo on your pre 98 so you don't need one, they are to correct the 98+ electronic speedos that come from the factory about 10+MPh out of calibration.
