Got my slip-on in today. Must say I am very happy with it. Installing it was a snap and it sounds awesome. Not to mention its 20lbs. lighter then the stock.

Also don't give me that "This Thread Is Worthless...Pictures" , everyone knows what that Yoshimura looks like, but as soon as I take some pictures I'll put them up!!

        Check out the link above.

I'm going to need to fabricate a mid pipe, but I have a friend who owns a Midas Muffler shop.
        He says, "No Sweat"

I may live to eat my own words.
This is going to be a bit more complicated.

Got to have a flange machined to "Bolt On" my new "Slip On".

I noted that the OEM Gixxer muffler was a bolt on unit but I thought there must be some sort of addapter.
        I was right! There is!
But, I've got to make it.
        Grrrr

        I'll keep you posted.

          So Far So Good

I have successfully installed my Hurric slip on today!

Got a little bit of cosmetics to do but otherwise it's complete.

It sounds quite deep and throaty at idle and piercing and sharp at 7000rpm.s under a bit of a load.

And..... it seems to have given me a noticable power increase.

I've got pictures too. I'd rather not do them as attachments.
Where can I post them for all to see?

I'd really like to share this with anybody who's interested.
          I'm really pleased so far.

                  It won't . I heard a V&H on a friend's 600 , and I didn't like a thing about how it sounded . Loud and obnoxious mostly , kinda deep and raspy I guess . I dunno , it wasn't cool though . But I haven't heard many exhausts that I DID like . I heard a V&H on a FZR1K that sounded pretty cool ...
