You know, some people would rather look stooopid than take a razor blade to their forks when the decal has to be removed.

Not EVERYONE is infatuated with image. I would rather protect the finish of the bike myself.

Yeah, when a terrorist steals a base decal, bolts it to his exploding moped, then blows-up the Pentagon, I'll blame this thread!

Also, I think it's more functional to put the sticker directly on the fork as it's lighter, less trouble to install, and has less wind-resistance. Besides, there's no need to do anything as ham-fisted as scraping your fork leg with a razor blade when you have a heatgun. Or let the next owner of your bike do the honors...
