    1100 kats a thing of beauty, I'd definately keep it and fix it if u are able too.. not as common as the pre 98 and 98+ 600s and 750's so yeah, I'd keep it.

              keep it. It all the damage seems easy to fix. It will be fun to have it in the long run. You are going to be tapped for cash for a while, so you might as well fix it and keep it until you can afford something else, if you want to up grade.

                I had a 1988 Kat 1100. Wish I kept it. I bought it with 28,000 miles and sold it with 47,000 miles. That bike still ran super strong and did'nt start to break a sweat until it was up to 75 M.P.H. I say keep it, and put in the money it needs. It will serve you for a long time.
