WTF - New choke cable only lasted 9 months

I bought a new choke cable 9 months ago when mine froze up. I bought one from Ron Ayers and was up and running in a week. Well now my choke cable is frozen again. I would expect it to last less than normal since my bike is outside all the time, but 9 months WTF? Has anyone had a cable go bad in that short of time?

I might have to invest in a cover.

Yup. Cable was misrouted, bottom of tank kept vibrating against it, fraying the cable inside.

PS - I probably have your choke cable ready to ship, no matter which Kat you have, cheaper than most dealers.
