I went and looked at the bike I was talking about in my other thread, and I bought it! My uncle went with me and once we jumped the battery to get it running, he test rode it and everything checked out. The bike has been a little neglected and the cosmetics are a little worse than I expected, but the price was right! I got it for $2300, and she threw in a helmet, battery charger, work stand, and the stock exhaust. It's a 2001, with ~7800 miles. Thanks to everyone that gave some advice to me, and now I feel like I will be able to contribute to the forums more!

Congrats on the new ride, looks like you made out pretty well for what you paid, put a little time in getting her cleaned up and you should be a happy rider for many miles to come."Screaming Eagle" = Harley dealer code for "Easily parts with money, and equates noise with performance."
