  • Ok I give up...where can I find a rear hugger???

I looked all over ebay and then a few online stores and still can't find a rear hugger for my 1989 Katana 600...I think one with an integrated chain guard would look cool but where do you find one?? Any help would be appreciated...

No company has made one...the ones you will see will not be sold as they are custom fabs by their respective owners....if you happened to make a cool one you would be REVERED!

Can't you take one from a SV or a 98+ Katana and modify it a bit???

Haven't gone that far yet...went the lazy route of looking for one already created...thought why try to re-invent the wheel...
Oh wait who am I talking to...so what revision are you one now....

Yup, I think you are going to be stuck Modifying it. Although, if you can modify it, then there won't be to many others out there with one, which sets you apart from the crowd.

Ok did some research and someone from the old KP had a site that had a little blurb on getting one...:

Looks easy enough just need to get a 98+ hugger and then off to the machine shop to fabricate the bracket....

You can order one for a Bandit 600 and mount it up. You will have to cut out a clearance relief for the brake support arm, but it will fit.
