  • Running rough

I have a bike with a very intermediate problem.
    1993 GSX 750F

Every so often my bike decides just too loose power. This happens 1st thing in the morning or during a 3 hour ride out.

It seems like it is missing on 1 or 2 cylinders. Runs rough for a few minutes then dies completely. It is then hard to start but when it does it runs like a dream.

    What could it be?

    What I have checked.

    Fuel supply – OK
    Spark Plugs – OK
    Coils- OK
    Battery – OK
    Leads – OK

    Any suggestions?

I'll wager fuel or spark plugs. -With a lean towards fuel from the description. How did you check it?

Did you replace the plugs of just check them?

As cheap as they are, since you're already in that far, replace them.

you might want to buy some electric contact cleaner, and some dielectric grease, and go through every electrical connection on the bike and clean / grease each one. I did that (too lazy to do them all yet) and it made the bike start easier, and my headlight is actually brighter after.
