  • The bees are out!

Just got back from ( what started out to be )a nice ride down by the river. 76 degrees, no wind, and not a cloud in the sky. Bikes all over the place. I'm cruising along and I start to feel something crawling on my cheek. So I go to pull over and right before I stop I see a bee on the inside of my face shield. I flipped up my face shield, snatched off my helmet, sunglasses went flying, and noticed there were 2 bees inside. Whats the chance of that. Lucky for me they just flew off. That got the old heart rate up a bit.

I have nothing to say, I have no opinion. That's what I learned from 9 1/2 years of marriage.

I hate bees!!!! Although being allergic probably has something to do with it.

Your lucky one or both didn't sting you, that would hurt a bit.

I have a strange bruise on my neck that was caused by a bee or a small stone. Either way it hurt like the dickens.

But nothing hurts as bad as explaining to the wife why i have a bruise on my neck!

Just for the record, my neck was the only part of my body not covered by gear!
