Is it just me or is the 98+ kat longer than most other sport bikes. I know ours are sport touring so thats probably why. It just seems to have different responses than my other bikes. If I shifted hard from 1st to 2nd with my ther bike i would bring the front tire up, with this on it roasts the tire. Seems like length may be attributed to this. Thanks guys

all the kats are a wee bit longer then other sportbikes. My 1100 is about 8 inches longer than a gsxr of the same year.I don't have a short temper. I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

Its also not designed to bring up the front wheel. Not due to length, but just engine power and weight issues.Kan-O-Gixxer!

just becuz it wasnt designed for it,doesnt mean u can do it
but yeah, they are longer.. its was funny to see my kat beside my coworkers 2000 gixxer. his looked so much smaller it wasnt even funny

Thats one of the reasons why I bought her . i'm a tall guy and don't really feel comfertable on smaller bikesBeauty is in the eye of the beer-holder.Comment
