Now that spring is upon us, how about sharing what you did during the winter months to build up for the riding season? What mods or purchases have you made, if any?
Here is my list of things I bought:
V&H race engine (around 200hp)
Yosh exhaust system (through waltari's deal)
Baldor buffer/grinder for polishing, plus wheels and compounds
Spare wheels, 1 swingarm and all plastics for my kat
Airbrush and stencils for graphics, plus collecting left over paint from bodyshops to do my graphics with.
Parts to build an oven big enough to bake a frame for powdercoating.
A grinder and 2 die grinders and an electric drill for polishing.
Another Corbin seat
Plus a pile of other little things that Ebay was good enough to provide me with.
Here is a list of what I have done:
NOTHING YET! Time and money was not the issue. Workspace was. Looking into a place now that will fit my needs. Could have had it this winter, but it is not warm enough for working in the winter. It will be fine for this summer until I can "winterize" it. Can't wait...going to have a pretty well equipped shop when it is done...woohoo.
Man, it feels good to have some warmer weather. I want to go on record as saying, WINTER SUX!
