hmm..no, not the stupidest thing ever made. its an optional aftermarket part, dude. meaning its an option for someone to get it. if it were stock, then i'd say, ya its stupid. but its not, so its not.

They don't do much at the tracks I have been at, no kill switch, just require a jacket and full face helmet. Leather pants if you are under 11. I really don't know why they are so laid back. Maybe people on bikes wreck less on a drag strip than a road course?

if your looking for an answer i dnot know i dont do it, the lowest my pants are, on my ankles, but useually right abve my butt, but not way up high that just freaks me out
