I took out the sender in my tank and when I reinstalled, it leaks.
Now, a couple of years ago, I took it to radiator shop that used blow torch to get the old coating out, soaked in acid I think, then coated it.
I then got it repainted
I don’t want it damaged!
I drained the tank and used a flexible light in the tank
I found a pinhole sized leak on the flange almost across from a screw hole. I could very easily smear a drop of jb cold weld on it and call it a day.
But, will jb cold weld ( or anything?) stick to a tank liner coating?
