T fitting should be fine. The 98+ uses a single out and in, and it flows enough fuel. Just make sure your placement of the fitting is properly located so you don't lock flow one side or the other. I'd suggest just at the top of the carbs with it straight up and down.

Stupid petcock mistake
I ordered the wrong petcock for my 97 750. It only has a single out. Can I get a T fitting and use it or do I need to get another one?
