Question about o rings on intake manifolds

new ones should be nice and round, the old ones are likely pancaked thin.

My kitty runs perfect when cold, but when warm, shows signs of an intake leak. After some hunting around,I found that when I sprayed carb cleaner at the junction where those metal flanges ( the ones that connect to the carb boots) meet the head, the idle would rise.
So, I’m assuming the o rings in them are shot.
I ordered some new orings.
When I get them, should I use any rtv or just put them in by themselves ?
