check this out !!
Off of Gixxer.com, Chip from RonAyers.com (Greenville, NC) has dynoed
a production Suzuki GSX-r1000 K5 and here is what he posted: (This
was the first message)
We are Sponsoring KWS Motorsports this year with Lee Acree and Blake
Young on GSXR1000's and GSXR600's in AMA Superbike and Supersport,
well we just recived our GSXR1000's today. (A week before
Daytona....)
Bikes 4 hours old, broke in on the Dyno.
DynoJet 250i
VP 110
165hp and 82ft of torque!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BONE STOCK!!!!!!
This is the most HP ever seen on the KWS Dyno by a stock motorcycle.
Next highest was a 2004 Busa that made 162.....
These things are going to be monsters.......I'll see if I can't post
dyno graphs tomarrow.
(This is his response to guys saying he go a pre-production bike with
mild head and all that other shit)
Ok..........
The bikes we recived are PRODUCTION motorcycles.......Not pre-
production, the bike are in country we just get to bypass the dealer
network. This is the same stuff you guys get. anything different than
stock and it would not be legal. These bikes will also be raced in
Superstock and will eb superstock legal at Daytona.
The VP used is the regular VP high octane stuff. No MR9 or
U4......just the regular VP 110. The only reason it is used is for
consistancy. All the bikes have been run like this. R1's, ZX10R's,
CBR1K's, ZX12r's, Busa, etc......etc.......They all get run the same
for a base line.
For the guys that called Ti Force and everybody else.........All
Dynos are different. Yours is going to show a different number than
mine. EVERY ONE IS DIFFERENT!
This GSXR pulled 165hp and 82lbs of torque on the same dyno, with the
same fuel and the realitivly the same conditions as the R1 (156hp),
ZX10R (158), CBR1K (152), Busa (162) did........It's all relitive.
Given the same Dyno, same fuel, and the same climate controled
building......a 2005 GSXR1000 made more power than any other bone
stock bike ever strapped to the KWS Motorsports Dyno.
