  • Name one tool for your Kat that you can't live without.

I believe that all of us have different preferences, however I believe that purchasing the torque wrench has been the most important in the proper maintenance of my bike. What tool would you trade your wife for, if it broke in the middle of a repair?

Wait, did I really say that???

I'd trade the wife for a sunny day and a full tank of gas.

but seriously though, if I ever busted my last allen wrench in the middle of taking off the plastics and it was like a holiday and nothing was open to buy a new one..yeah, i'd be alittle upset!

if you want hot chicks, the most important tool you need is me!

but really... i have like almost 2 of everything, so i wouldn't mind having a dyno in the garage.
if its got 2 wheels or a skirt....i'll ride it.

Well , it USED to be my sparkplug socket , as I was changing plugs every weekend ! Now ? Well , I have pretty much used ALL my tools equally when needed .

I keep a set of allen wrenches under my seat along with one of the fullsize leatherman gadgets. Man, that leather man has saved my hide a few times. I was in the middle of downtown Jackson and my fuel line split at the clamp. I was able to fix it in about 20 minutes in a parking lot thanks to the leatherman and allen wrenches.

I think that the allen keys are the most used of all.....any work that needs to be done starts and ends with the allen keys

                      Umm
Lets see, I have like 5 full sets of metric allens along with three fold up sets.. umm
Doubles on all sockets and combo wrenches.
I can't think of any tool I have that if it broke I would up "up the creek" without back up..

One thing I do wish I had was a smaller Torque wrench. 3/8 drive..

Trade the wife??? Naw, never... she likes to help and she don't mind gettin greasy either...

gotta be the allens, I got em on the bike and in my garage several sets. T handle allens the best but portable small ones are good too.
