  • Motorcycle laws for each state..

Found this on the net, thought it might be helpful for us when traveling, to know what each state requires. Plus its some interesting reading seeing how each state differs as well.

I've heard that some of that stuff may not be entirely accurate , though ....

wow, the RI cops could bust us for more than they do. Helmet speakers are against the law and handlebars can only be a max of 15 inches above the seat. Appearantly that doesnt apply to all the harley guys with ape hangers.

                    I dont need turn signals?

From what I have heard, from checking around with friends I have in other states, its pretty accurate from what I can tell..but every exact detail though? that im not sure of, but as a general rule of thumb, its a decent resource.

Funny in KY it states that mufflers cannot be altered and must be the same noise level as stock....LOL LOL Thats a crock. My D&D is LOUD and I have a few friends with old school KZ 900's and 1000's with headers and megaphones and they are super loud. Never ever once had a problem...

Another thing I noticed was the state (KY) requires mirrors ( and I have been pilled over for no mirrors) but blinkers are not required!!!! Thats real smart!!

                              This state kills me..
Um I dont know any wise quotes so go read katansoldiers quote in his signature!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
