Has anyone put gold cartridge s in forks on a 1100 other than the 88. When I do a sesrch for fork cartridge s they say they only have them for the 1988 katana.

Shpielers (I think) told me that '88 is the only year you can put emulators in. No dice for '89+.

    Talk to Terry: http://norwestsuspension.com/

The 89 and up are a way better fork that won't need them.

89 and up have actual cartridge forks, cannot use an emulator. You can get valve kits to revalve them though. Off the top of my head I think it a valve kit for a 20mm Showa, but Terry can tell you 100% and get things ordered for you.
It's a little pricey as you have to get separate valve kits for rebound and compression. Something like $180 each if i remember correctly.
