  • Need for speed

1991 gsx 1100f top speed,161 verified by gps. So my question is how to take this up a notch? In order to get this bike close to superbike stats I need an extra 25 mph, We have the hp here to do this ,what gearing should I use
to stretch this out? . Factory pro jet kit, stock air filter, stock dual exhaust,
Wish I had an extra gear!!

Motorcycle speed and sprocket calculator with bike database for gearing, sprockets, tires and chains of over 1900 bikes. Request yours to be added as well.

They probably go by design spec as a base point

          One question....why?

If you want supersport performance why start with a touring bike?

A true SS bike will have the suspension and brakes to handle those speeds, most likely carry less weight and feel a bit more at home on the track besides.

makes them pretty much unridable on the road & not easy to do, nowhere near a straight swap
Renthals & twin spots do not make a streetfighter !

That's a good idea! Too bad Suzuki do that from the beginning, Along with some 17 inch wheels.
