noob with a 1100G

I just purchased a 1993 1100G with a huge dent in the gas tank. Are the GSXR body parts the same as the 1100G. I'm missing the speedometer also are there any other suzukis that have similar parts.

Some of the GSXR parts fit and most of them fit with some modifications. Other than Kat to Kat most suzuki parts will work with a little work.

You need to check out the GSX1100G Yahoo mail group. Very active group. Lots of good info and parts there as well as a great bunch of guys. Look for posts by dgmann. He's the parts and compatibility guru and just posted a bunch of parts for sale a little bit ago.
