I never said the B12 was uncomfortable on long trips; I merely said that the Katana 1100 was more comfortable. The fairing and windshield really do help keep the wind off my legs and upper body, something the B12 lacks.

Agreed on the wind protection on the legs. But the ergos of the bandat are a bit more stretched out and closer to standard than my kat 1100 was. Much easier to do a 1000 mile day on a bandit. Less forward leaning and more leg room.
