  • My idle goes up when the handlebars are extreme left or extreme right

This bugs me. I ran the bike with the gas tank off and noticed that the just giving the throttle cable a little tug made the idle go up.
Now, here is my big question- does your throttle cable go OVER the black removable frame bar that goes overs the valve cover, or does it go UNDER that black bar?
Mine goes under and I am wondering if the cable would get more slack going over it , but I am loath to removed my fairings and remove the bar to find out.

I guess you were absent last week..

Can't get it to run right? Find a trick to add HP?
From the first oil change to completely rebuilding the engine,
this is the place to talk about the heart of the beast!

you can adjust the slack in the throttle to, i had to do it when i rebuil tthe kat fighter.

you can adjust it right at the throttle tube, thats what the little metal thing sticking out with the nut on it is for
      Uh Oh here we go....
