Weekend Ride to Keys

Sorry - no photos but it was fantastic to take a ride from Deerfield down to Islamarada on the 89 Kat1100 all alone. Packed up a tank bag with T-shirt, bathingsuit and flipflops and gone.

Turnpike was running at 95-120mph with a bunch of "jackrabbits" to follow....the beast ran really well but I am getting lousy gas mileage....probably got 120 miles out my tank.....gooing to have to check into that. Even these old bikes can give you a nice smooth fast ride - priceless!

I'm heading out to a chili cookoff at St George Island today with about 15 other riders. -Should be about 70F with clouds. You gotta love Florida's riding season.

thats the next trip I'm planning. I just need a corbin seat, My rear was hurt after the Daytona ride.
