There are teflon coated bushings in the forks. You need to inspect them.. Kinda stinks cause you have to take the fork apart to inspect them, then if you need them who knows if your local has them.. You want to see if the coating is worn off, like 60% or more?

I dunno about anti friction .. but you sure don't need to do that to replace springs. It is a piece of cake, just did it last summer on 88,. Also it works great you're gonna like it.

True you can swap springs with out touching another thing, why not put it to rest.
