I left the house for work the other morning to a weather report of "some patchy fog in the area, nothing too thick..." only to find myself tiptoeing my way through THICK fog and drizzle. Not only was it foggy, but my visor fogged inside and the drizzle coated the outside of my visor. I could flip it up only briefly, as it was only about 40 degrees outside. I couldn't go over 45 mph because I couldn't see, and I couldn't go under that for fear of being rear-ended, as cars flew past me at 60 and above. It was pretty scary!
What really pisses me off is the people who drive in that weather WITHOUT HEADLIGHTS. Especially people who drive professionally - truckers, cabbies, cops. As I got closer to work, I was on a two-lane highway going about 50 mph when a black Oklahoma Highway Patrol car pulled out in front of me with no headlights on. I couldn't see him until it was almost too late. Had I been doing 60-65 I probably would have hit him. I was so angry that I pulled alongside him shaking my head. When he looked over, I pointed angrily at my headlamp. He got the point and flipped his lights on once I got back behind him.![011.gif](https://katriders.com/core/images/smilies/011.gif)
Anyway, that's my rant for the day. LOL
