help with side mirrors and wind

Well today was the windiest day I've ever taken out the bike onto the hwy, and I noticed that my side mirrors were "folding" in due to the wind. Not badly, but enough that I can't use them anymore. So.. my own fear of adjusting them myself while moving just left me with useless mirrors.

Can the stock mirrors be tightened up, or is there a good solution? I have a 99 Kat.

Pul;l up the boot and look at the joint and see wht the bolt looks like . I know there's an odd stack of spacers & washers in there , but don't remember if the bolt can simply be tightened . I really don';t see why NOT , but I don't have a 98+ , either .

Will do, I did pull the boot one direction and didn't see the joint when I was taking out the fairings.. I'll look at the other joint and see if there is a bolt.
