  • just when i thought it won't happen to me

it was a beautfull day 2 ride, but a bad day for me. i jsut happen to be riding on a road that i was new too, and low and behold it came upon a hair-pin turn. before i know it i was slideing into the gaurd rail. good thing i was with some other riders. the lord is good. i didn't get hurt. just alittle sore. but my baby is beat-up looking now. she need some plastic surgery. here's some pic's of my beat-up bike.

Not to preach at you, but always hold back on unfamiliar roads.

Get back on ASAP. You'll be glad you did.

        That's some good advice there...

Glad your ok. Your lucky you weren't seriously hurt. People that hit guard rails don't usually walk away.

There is a guy I know that is in the hospital right now with two fractured femurs, a broken back (in 4 places ) and other injuries.
He is really messed up. He has had about 8 surgeries in the last week alone. He is expected to be in the hospital for several months.
