MSF this weekend, any last minute words of wisdom?
Listen to what they say even if you're the most stubborn person in the world (like me). I completely ignored one instructors advice to "look where I want to go and my arms and head will take myself and the bike there". It wasn't until I left, and weeks later, I started putting that tip to use. I still think it in my head if I'm trying to maneuver somewheres difficult.
Having been an instructor for a few years i can tell you the hardest people to teach are those who think they know it all, wont listen, & get bored easilly
so take your time make sure you are comfortable & relaxed, pay attention to what you are told & most of all dont worry just enjoy the day, going in with that sort of attitude gives you a better chance of learning easilly & makes the instructors life so much easier which in turn that makes him or her better able to teach
good luck
Renthals & twin spots do not make a streetfighter !
"You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you."
As an instructor all I can say is go out with an attitude to learn and listen to what your instructors have to say. Make sure you get plenty of rest the night before and do not go out drinking after your first day, go home and rest, you will ned it
