  • Cool, Old-School Rider Training Vid

From 1974! Some good info, and some very entertaining stuff, too. I like it when the rider pays the pump jockey with pocket change! The woman riding has some mad skillz (or maybe not, given that term did not exist in '74...)

    "Stevie B" Boudreaux

I ride: '01 Triumph Sprint ST

Projects: Honda CB650 Bobber projects I, II and III

Take care of: 81 Honda CM400,72 Suzuki GT550

Watch over/advise on: 84 Honda Nighthawk 700S (now my son's bike)

    For sale, or soon to be: 89 Katana 1100, 84 Honda V45 Magna, 95 Yamaha SECA II, 99 GSXR600, 95 ZX-6, 84 Kaw. KZ700, 01 Bandit 1200, 74 CB360.

Wow that was cool to watch. Most Kat riders were still swimming around in their daddys nut sac when that film was made.I also dig the old bikes. Thanks for sharing it.

For some reason the first 20 seconds of the vid reminded me of that movie "Phantasm."

BTW, I think they may have been correct. It does appear that BLACK is indeed the FASTEST color. R.O.R...R.I.P.M

            back-in-the-day
Kawasaki Z1 900 - I did a wheelie and spun the rear tire when I shifted from first to second on my friends bike.
Kawasaki 2 stroke street bikes - smokin wheelie machines.

These bikes had rubber frames and brakes made with prayers.

            And bell bottoms pants!
