The father-in-law scored tickets to the auto show so we trekked down last night to take a look around.
(I hope the colours of the pics are okay... the display on my laptop is starting to go)
We started the night off right as soon as we hit the first display. BAM! A beautiful white Lambo staring us in the face.
Naturally, right next to the Lambo was..... Ferrari.
Ford had a pretty impressive display this year, considering I don't like Fords.
The new GT...
AND the Shelby concept... slick lookin ride I must admit.
Apparently, one of the Toronto Raptors gave up his ride for the evening. Wonder what he's pickin up da ho's with?
Complete with hardwood floor, basketball design seats and custom speaker grills.
Now the owner of this little hatchback has his priorities straight.
Take a peek in that back window. Yep...dat's right....
POCKETBIKES!!! 8)
Ok, I admit it... I like the tuners. When they're done right. They deserve some credit for the amount of time, effort, brain power and cash they put into their vehicles. No different than us and our bikes.
This Chevy Colbalt absolutely blew me away. The pics don't do it any justice. This thing was nuts.
Right side drive. 32" plasma screen to the left of the driver pretty much controlled the entire car. DVD. PS2. Picture viewer. Stereo. Speakers. Amps.
It was a pretty sweet setup.
Oh and what's this?? BAM!! A SECOND 32" plasma in the back for the passenger?!?!? Definately a custom 2-seater.
Here's the Chrysler Akino. Pretty much an office on wheels.
KATGIRL... these are for you baby.
Hey look! Triumph is making a car now!
Some new Suzuki concept vehicle. It has more neon than Vegas.
Lime green Lotus...
The Eclipse Spyder. It got a lot of hype. Didn't impress me at all.
Doesn't look any different than any other convertible on the road. If I had the choice...I'd tell it to put it's top back on.
Now HERE is something that actually caused me to become speechless. Once I caught a glimpse of this fine piece of art I stood and drooled for god knows how long. The lines. The stance. The beauty. Wow...just speechless.....
Shiate. How'd they get in there?!
I was actually referring to this...
The Austin Martin Vantage. Hot damn. What a car. I've already located my nearest dealer. I'm just waiting for my lottery winnings to be deposited into my bank account.
A great lookin MG...
A mint Ford Fairlane...
A '57 Chevy Cameo pick-up...
And the REAL reason why I went to this show..........
SHAAAAAAAAAZAM!!
THE CAMARO CONCEPT!
If this baby ever officially hits the showroom I will own one. Make mine silver please.
I'll even sell my Vulcan if I have to. Don't care what it takes. I will own a Camaro once again.
Just standing there looking at the thing brought back memories of my '84 I had in high school. I wanna relive those days dammit. Who cares if it costs me $40k.
Well, that's about it. Spent 5 hours wandering around looking at cars. Just another exciting night in the big city.
Thanks for enduring my countless pics yet again.
THE END.
