I got a new bike yesterday

Well, I bought a new bike yesterday.

1999 Yamaha R1



Don't mind the squid..





I know I'll probably get some negative comments from you guys for getting such an extreme bike, but I did get a super good deal on it. That was my main reasoning for getting this bike.

I still have the Katana for now. I'm looking to sell lil' Buster. I worked very hard on that bike and I am proud of it, so I would like to see it go to a good owner.

You guys know your stuff and I enjoy lurking from time to time and I will continue to do so, haha.

Just remebmer your Kat , it would be a hard pic for me everyday choosing which one to take out but i guess itd all depend on if i wanted a nice relaxing ride or to fly lol

Easy choice. I swapped insurance to the R1 so I wouldn't have to pay both. No choice but to fly, haha.

.. for the record I commute with traffic a lot. And lane sharing is legal in CA. So, not much flying during the week.
