  • footpegs for nothing

OK, I was upset because the passenger peg rubber was coming off the pegs. I pulled them off and realized a cool discovery. I called HS and he sent me a extra set via KatDan2. Now I have a matching set of race pegs LOL

I still have to get the black rubber off the passenger pegs

Yeah I know, but they're race pegs now, to me I was thinking of having my anodized gold or just getting them online.

The rubber on those things is UNBELIEVABLE. I did the same to my rear pegs, and had to soak them in aircraft stripper to soften it up. Then I was able to get it off without too much of a fight. The pegs polish up nice after that!

The rubber on the pegs is slippy enough when your boots are wet and the rubber is wet too... so either way, just gotta be alittle extra careful.

Most rubbers are slippery when wet.

I did that on my old 600 when the rubber started to come off. They polish up nice but do get pretty slick when they get wet
