My new 03 tail.

Okay guys, here she is, I got the tail from specialK for $90 and had it painted yellow for $140. I am pretty happy with the outcome, No more ugly red rocket taillight for me.

how hard was that to do? i hate the bubble on my 99 and would love to be able to switch up to that

Not hard at all. The hardest part i'd say was re doing the wireing, because the new tail has 2 bulbs. And that was easy.

If you go with the Clear Alternative Integrated Taillight you won't have to rewire, because it only uses one of the tail light sockets...

I like both tails persoanlly. If I got a second set of plastics to switch out colors when I wanted to, then i would get a newer tail, but I do like the bumblebee tail as well.

I just liked the newer style a lot more.

sweet mod. just got my 03+ tail fairing as well. as soon as i paint it i'll be putting it on : i want to get rid of the "madonna boob" tail as well.
