It was a ride to help raise money for the Special Olympics

I have to say it was really cool, we had a police escort and there ~100 bikers. I've rode my red 97 GSX600F and I didn't take any pictures (forgot my camera) but I did find myself in a couple of the pics online. There were maybe ~5 sport bikes and I expected to get some flak about my bike but everyone was really nice. When we got to the second stop on the ride they had the kids from the special olympics there to meet us (unknown to me) and thank us for the support, it really pulled on the heart strings and since my bike stood out agianst all the crusiers some of the kids gravitated toward it. It was fun but man- there were a couple of times in traffic were I thought the people in front of me were going to bite it. I really couldn't get use to the whole speed up to slow down stuff either. I think I was about 2/3 of the way back in the group and I think next time I'll shot for up near the front or farther back. I've been riding for a about a year now and have clocked about ~2000 miles of solo riding and personally think it was a good idea wait to do a group thing. If anyone else was there let me know, I would do this agian but I don't think it will become a once a month thing.
