post kat 750 to 600 upper triple tree swap DONE! pic heavy

so its been alittle while in the works but i finally finished my upper triple tree swap and i must say i couldnt be happier. it made a huge difference in the over all look of the bike and atleast in my opinion feels better around corners. so anyways here is how it went.

picked up a stock set of 06 katana upper triple tree and clip ons.


next tree was sent to powder coating to get striped and coated a nice black.

750 tree is off.


the two trees next to eachother. and i must say that 750 upper tree is really huge. it weighs a ton more then the 600 tree and is much larger.


and the finished product all on and pretty. i f**ed the new powder coat on the tree abit putting it on but it still looks good.



and last the before and after you can see the difference in the hight of the bars.

well actually funny enough i find having the bars down much more comfortable. i know im weird but ive always been more comfortable on an ss bike then a standard. i dropped the bars to make it alittle more aggressive yes but also for comfort lol now i have the kat seat and the lower bars, best from both worlds.
