Spring Mods done (for now)

OK. I've been busy this spring and finally got a few things done to the Kat. Latest mods are: painted calipers (G2 caliper paint); stainless steel brake lines (Galfer and FTP); blue anodized valve stems; Freeway Blaster horn; Hayabusa rear shock (couldn't get a good picture); and new Continental Sport Attack tires.

I'm now ready to enjoy my Kat for a while before the mod bug hits again....

Do you think the horn is much louder?

The horn is quite a bit louder - maybe the cagers will hear me now! I have the high tone right now (think Italian car..), but I might put the low tone on as well. I'll have to get a relay to do that. Right now its a direct plug-n-play.

I had to turn my freeway blaster around so the horn pointed up because when I went over a speed bump or entered a parking lot the horn would hit the front fender and go CLUNK. Maybe yours doesnt do this, but it's something you may want to think about. It also made the horn that much louder because the sound was directed up.

I'll have to check/watch that. The reason I pointed it down is someone else recommended it pointed down to keep rain/water out.
